The refs were absolutely pure trash tonight. I dont even care that Philly had 11 penalties for 125 yards and 1 penalty for 1 yard for Carolina. It was absolutely horrific penalty after horrific penalty. Just absolutely terrible. I saw about 5 missed holding calls on Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. They call touch PI calls on Philly making it impossible to play CB and Alshon get mugged and NOTHING.

Go watch the late hit on Philly turning a 3rd and 15 into a first down. Yes it was stupid he even touched Cam but if you watch it again in slow motion he barely grazes Cam and Cam does his Lebron James flop and they throw the flag.

Best part if go watch Cams amazing dive towards the end zone. He is walking off the field joking, laughing, smiling and the camera zooms in and he grimaces like he's hurt.

The refs were bad tonight, no doubt. One of those games that makes you think refs take bribes. They called personal fouls and pass interference against the Eagles very liberally, while ignoring nearly identical plays on the other side of the ball by the Panthers.

But...then they made some bad calls against Carolina. Cam scored on that run near the goal line. They got that wrong and charged the Panthers a timeout. That was hard to understand.

That wasn't a penalty though and it was very different. Alshon got his arm pinned on a critical deep pass. Nothing. We do nothing a throw the flag. The missed holding calls were even worse.

Fletcher beat his man and gets bear hugged from behind. Terrible.

As a whole the officiating has been horrible this year - rendering the pro game almost unwatchable. I don't know if it has to do with Blandino leaving or what - but the NFL is really taking some serious backward steps as far as the quality of the games go. The refs are far far too active in games.

Thats actually fine if the bad calls are balanced but it was ALL one sided.

Holy crap. I just read this. The Eagles have had head referee Morelli 3 times since 2015 and here is the penalty breakdown over the last 3 seasons we've had Morelli (Is this guy from Dallas?) I want to know where he was born.

Eagles 34 penalties for 333
Opponents 6 penalties for 49 yards

The last 2 games with this bum...

Eagles 25 penalties for 236 yards
Opponents 3 penalties for 19 yards

I thought the Cam thing was funny because you see him look for a flag, doesn't see one, grabs his head, then the flags fly.

First time in the HISTORY of the NFL. I'm sure you dont give a crap but go look at the Philly papers. One Sports writer said, "I never complain about officiating, NEVER. But this showing was absolutely a travesty."

Theres something going on with this dude Morelli. His last 4 games vs. Philly 83% of the call have gone against Philly. 40 penalties for 395 yards to 8 for 74 yards. Something aint right.
