the shitty development is the biggest head scratcher to me. I was saying there were development problems with Bo and to see it continue under MR is just so odd in my opinion. I can only name a few guys that have truly looked better from the first time you saw them to the last/today. That's what i just don't understand, is why guys just seem stuck in the mud at NU. it's like we got a team full of guys that reached their full potential in HS.

and most of the guys that have looked better were walkons - Gifford, Janovich, Long are guys that come to mind.

guys like Young, whom started as a freshman for this staff, now in his 3rd year and he plays exactly the same. none of the OL looks better. as SEC just said, the line looks better but it seems to be personnel changes, not actual development. we have TEs that came in Year 1 with MR and still aren't sniffing much of anything. it really just makes zero sense to me.

Yeah. I went around in circles on that one for a long time with Dobson under bo. It can only be a 'talent' issue when talking top 10 (maybe 15) schools. Nebraska has the same talent (or better) with most of these teams they struggle with.
It can only be coaching. I.E. player technique and getting people lined up properly.
And/Or...
Strength and Conditioning.

Damon Benning has been all over the 'technique' thing recently.

How dare yoU!!

Posting PF crap in here. I still dont get why people even bother in that part of the forum, i get why it exists to make the rest of the forum politics free, but people who spend time actually arguing in there, i just dont get it. It was fun to troll for a short while when i first came to these forums but..... that was sooo 2016

We used to babysit pops. Maybe that Is over

I have a big Halloween party to attend, but there will be big screen tv's with the game on.

I have noticed a lot of 'face value' tickets for both the Wisconsin and now the Ohio St games on Buy/Sell/Trade facebook pages for Omaha. Not great seats (mostly endzone or high up). But still those tickets for big games are rarely face value and not so abundant.

There are row 40-50 endzone seats for $50 a piece on stubhub.

$85 off face value.

I guess I'm a bit different. I don't see why the value of the tickets drop just because we're going to lose. It's the experience in general that make those tickets worth it.

I mean shit.....are people just now figuring out that we're not going to win these games?

I knew the last 5 seasons that we wouldn't beat the Ohio States of the world.

We are going to get fist fucked, but I'm still going to watch every minute of it.

Just like last year. No reason to not watch it. All the way to the bitter end.

Wasn't the last time OSU was here was "Fuck you fans! Fuck all of you!"

It's only fitting.

Most of what I've seen are north endzone where you can't see the big screen without spraining your neck, or the top of east stadium up high. I think it's the 600 sections.
I've never been up there, but thought about walking up there when I've been early to other games just to get the viewpoint.

if it was an afternoon game, i'd take the boys, but these night games are too damn late for them. they wouldn't make it past the 1st quarter. i guess they'd be a good excuse to leave early, so i'd be like, "shit we are losing 45-3 at half, i'd stick around, but my boys need to get home and go to bed."

Or all the sets around you would be empty any way so they could stretch out and go to sleep.

The North Endzone is the best cuz the student section is right there and you can just walk over and sit in any of those seats you want.

Wife and I had row 96 seats given to us a couple years ago for the Illinois game and we just walked down and stood like 15 rows up in the student section and never had a word said to us :dhd:

 ummmmmm...

The students are in the southeast corner endzone. The big screen is in the north end zone.

Either you've never been to a game or you need a refund on yourn college tuition regarding north, south, east, and west.
