And lol @ including Cal.

No one, not even Cal, thought they would be doing anything this well this quickly into Wilcox's tenure. They have to have looked at that game like it was a FCS level challenge going into the year.

Its the @ Cal part of it. Still a conference game on the road, so there is always intrigue. Throw in playing another road conference game with 1 day less into the mix. That is rough stretch with no bye week

I think their biggest bitch of the year is not having their bye week until the last week of the season. They have no break during the year to catch their breath and try to heal up. That's how they really got screwed.

That is a big part of my reasoning. Not having a bye week is just rude

Well they play the beavers next at home so it's kind of like a bye week.

Whoever scheduled this year for USC should be fired. Stanford, Texas, @ Cal, and a short week for game @ WSU. That is rough.
I'm actually surprised the line isn't closer. It's been a bad year to play without a bye week .Heres the updated list :L
  • Out for season: K Michael Brown (knee), LB Tayler Katoa (knee), CB Jonathan Lockett (hip), S Isaiah Pola-Mao (shoulder)
  • Out: OLB Hunter Echols (hip), TE Daniel Imatorbhebhe (hip), OT Nathan Smith (knee)
  • Doubtful: OLB Porter Gustin (toe/bicep), WR Velus Jones Jr. (leg), WR Steven Mitchell (groin)
  • Questionable: RB Aca’Cedric Ware (undisclosed)
  • Probable: WR Deontay Burnett (shoulder), DL Rasheem Green (ankle), DB Ajene Harris (knee), RB Ronald Jones II (quad/ankle), WR Joseph Lewis (abdominal), OLB Uchenna Nwosu (knee/elbow), WR Michael Pittman (ankle), DL Marlon Tuipulotu (knee)

Ronald Jones being probable is something else to take into consideration before you drop any cheddar on this game. They are a different beast with him in. I'd expect WSU to have all kinds of issues stopping him.

He practiced and is probable. But he is still banged up.Whether he plays and what he is capable of doing at less than 100% could determine a lot. He's been SC's most productive weapon on offense.Burnett''s health will determine a lot too. He's been the only consistent WR not a lot of depth at WR atm.

Polls aside I think when it comes down to it .The PAC champion gets in again.Aside from maybe PSU.I'm just not impressed with the B1G this year
An undefeated SC vs an undefeated UW in the PACCG would be a biggy. With that said there was a recent poll in the Washington Facebook group between SC and Wazzou for who they wanted to win. Remarkably the majority were pulling for the Cougs which is strange seeing how a lot of UW fans hate on WSU.

That and Wazzu directly effects the North standings. Unless SC is playing. I'm always going to want the North teams to beat their south rivals. It wouldn't make sense not to really. Those games tend to make a difference later

With all due respect, none of your injured players will matter much if Luke Falk keeps playing as crappy as he has thus far. If he comes out like he has so far this year you guys will roll us.

I'm going to guess you're joking :dhd: I've had Wazzu as possibly the most difficult game on the schedule since it was released.Havent been looking forward to this one.But I'm being realistic y'all have a great team

USC hasn't played a real worthy team yet and in all the games, they did not look like a top 5 team but they still found a way to win. This time, things are different. Cougars win, close, but they win.

This smells alot like, oh back when, about 2008? Texas rolls into Lubbock one crazy night and the Pirate steals one.

I picked USC here, but boy-o-boy, they better what out for that crazy Pirate.

Not joking at all. Falk really hasn't been good at all this year. He only throws to 4 guys, has zero faith in his inside receivers. It's very easy to shut down the offense if you are athletic enough to cover Williams/Morrow and Martin Jr. and Johnson-Mack.
