Great finish with 3 holes to go there were 5 women tied a -9.
Maryia Jutarnagarn (Arryia's) older sister had her first chance to win a major. She had like 4 putts lip out. Got to feel for her.
She's on 18 with rain moving in and she missed the fairway.
Could be a three way playoff.
Come on Maryia

I was watching some of this late at night and turned it when it went to commercials and never went back to it...I STILL don't know who won it.

Anna Nordqvist beat Britney Altomre in a one hole playoff in a down pour. Poor Moriya shanked her tee shot on 18 and there was no recovering she boged and fell out of the playoff. Great championship that ended in terrible weather what a shame.

Thanks...I finally did see the GC highlights...would have liked to see the young American girl win it, but I like the tall Swede as well.

I have an affinity for Thailand. Love the Thai people. So glad to see more Thais on the tour. I felt bad for Moriya who's been living in the shadows of her younger sister. She had so many putts lip out. Hope this wasn't her last chance at winning a major.

Now if it's about eye candy, damn some of those Korean girls are hot.

What else is there? LOL Kidding...aside from short game I actually like watching the lady pros.

We have some Thai neighbors that are really nice people...FWIW...I dated a Filipino girl for a hot minute back in college. Talk about fun...to be young again free again...oh well.

I'm not going to try to spell their last name, but the shorter one imo has a better overall game than her sister's power oriented game. I have a feeling both will win a major.

Watching the ladies is certainly easy on the eyes and enjoyable to watch. I'm super impressed with Arriya the younger sister. She out drives most the women using her three iron. Had a hell of a season last year. Struggling this year. Their a great story the family sold their business to support the two girls. Shrewd move looking back on it, I'm sure the parents have no financial worries any longer.

Yep, Thais are genuinely the nicest people in the world. They don't have much, many of them anyway but they will share whatever they have. Litterally give you the shirt off their backs.

I spent a little time in the PI. Fun place and people. English is spoken widely making communication easy. Lucky I speak enough conversational Thai to survive. Have to say Thai women are prettier but Phils have nicer bodies. Some Thai girls look like they hhve a 12 y/o boy's ass. That's starting to change slightly with all the fast food franchising popping up.

Yes to be young again, ahhhhhhhhhh

Yep...I had the good fortune of playing a LPGA proam about maybe 7-8 yrs ago when ATL had a tour stop down on the south side of town...Annika, Karrie Webb, & Si Ri Pak was still a big items on tour back then...our "pro" was not a very big name and she wasn't that long. I'm 6'3 235, maybe 220 back then (lol), and I was routinely out driving her, but she was sooooooooo straight and she beat me by probably 20 strokes. We went back down for the Friday tournament round and we saw several of the big names....on TV most people appear larger than they are, for that reason I was a little surprised that Annika was so short.

Anyway, from that experience I've always had an appreciation for the ladies pros...they play pretty much the same distance we play on the weekends and distance is comparable...but the scores are not.

Ariya is the bigger, but younger of the two...okay. I had that backwards, I thought she was the older one. Now she's long, like you say, she rarely if ever uses a driver. I need that kind of discipline on some of the short holes...just get the ball in play!!!

Another long player, is Lexi could dominate if she could putt better.

I've never been to that part of the world, but maybe one day...we're starting to click off some of our bucket list travels now....I guess that's one good thing about middle age!

I'm jealous as hell you got to play a ProAm with the LPGA. Awesome for you. The wife has played some charity classics that had pros. One of her customers was Best Buy. They had an annual charity golf and other events. It would raise over $1M. Beside golfers they had a dinner she saw entertainers lije Beyonce, Elton John others I can't recall. Best part was the free give aways. Tge wife got me a Ping G12 Driver, Scotty Cameron putter, $200 shoes. Sucks now she's no longer with that company and I heard they downsized tge tourney anyway.

Funny you mention that. I went to the senior tour a couple years back. Guys like Freddie Couples are not very big but hits it 300 and straight. Damn I hate those guys. It's amazing the sound of their club head speed and the crack of the ball.

Wow if you ever do I totally suggest you stop in Thailand. Not too expensive yet like Japan and Korea. Bangkok is a big city like most. If you stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel you can expect western prices. I recommend staying in Bangkok a day or two at most. Do the tourist places like the Grand Palace and temple of the reclining buddha... then head north to Chaing mai or Chaing Ria. Actually see their culture. I also enjoy the Korat area. Known as Isan. Laid back farm area spicy food. Go south to the beaches and islands if that's your fancy? I avoid areas filled with tourists, that's just me. Plenty of great places that are cheaper and just as beautiful as Phuket or PiPi Island. It would be amazing if your friends could travel with you. Heck if not if I'm already living over there I'd be glad to buy you a nice cold Thai beer and some awesome Thai food.
