Gotta side with RG3 on this. Santana may have felt RG3 was gloating, but unless it's on record somewhere its simply mere hearsay... so keep it to yourself Santana,,, at least off a public forum. Even if true Santana is now no better than RG3 himself by tossing someone under a bus. I agree that RG3 has tweeted himself right out of this league... and im not even mentioning his play on the field. It's his tweets that has the public hating him. Not sure we will ever see another player in our lifetime fall as hard and as fast from grace than RG3. Tiger nearest one to him... and it's not really even that close.

Tiger's fall is way bigger than the one for RG3 & not even close. RG3 only played well for one NFL season & managed to get them to one playoff game which they lost. He then played poorly & while getting a poor rep never really had any major off field incidents. He is basically a blip on the NFL map.

Compare that to Tiger. At the time he was - by far - considered to the be the absolute best at his sport & was in the conversation for the best golfer ever. He won 14 majors & almost 80 PGA wins. No other golfer was remotely close. He was possibly in the top 4-5 for most famous person on the planet (sports or otherwise).

He then proceeded to be pushed basically off the golfing planet to the pt where he could not compete. He also subsequently was involved in scandals for infidelity, drug use & possibly steroids. RG3's fall from grace pales in comparison.

i was a big fan of Robert

I was also a big fan of Mike

they both acted badly at the end ... with leaks to media etc.

but we never truly know what kind of character these guys truly have behind closed doors.

when I watched cousins interview at Liberty and it made me think of Robert

how he always appeared to sincerely give thanks to God and post the Gospel on social media

but I can not come to grips with Roberts persona of being a devout Christian

while making the choice to leave his wife for someone hotter ...

just months after the birth of their child

something doesnt add up

Sorry to give my first ever face palm. Rules state that I cannot go further into this than I have. Nothing personal towards you, just that statement.

At the risk of breaking the rules, faith in the end is a personal choice. And what one thinks is acceptable in their faith is also a personal choice. For fuck sake, Hitler was a devout Christian after all.

I never doubted RG3's Faith, but some of the stuff he said and did... had me doubting his character.

I dont doubt Kirks Faith, and I doubt his character much less than the last guy.

and as for the ban on Religion on the board ...

i would think we are still able to discuss faith/religion/spirituality

as long as it relates to a current redskins topic

such as this, or joe gibbs, or a any other team related topic

No he wasn't. People who worked with him, like his secretary, stated he put on a public image of being a one to garner votes but behind closed doors denounced it and thought Christians were weak and foolish for believing in it. That is all I am saying on this matter.

OK, and thanks,
Well we live in a country that because of protected "rights" there are no repercussions levied when one picks and chooses which religious value one wants to break and/or uphold. For anyone who's ever been in one, locker rooms are notorious dens of inequities. It is virtually impossible to continually be in one, especially as one of the team leaders and not at some point be drawn into any number of activities or conversations (group or more private) that goes on there.

To say that one cannot question Kirk's faith devalues his necessary role in that environment and places too much emphasis on his public (salesman) image. This too gives no credit to the country that we live in. Faith being based on a bastardized version of religion makes everyone a hypocrite at some point or the other......including Kirk.
THE END.....I'm done with this.

I'll just say that no man on earth should or has the right to judge another person's faith. IMO that is between you and whoever or whatever you believe in.

On a football note I would use Joe Gibbs, Darrell Green and Tony Dungee to illustrate that you can survive in the locker room with your faith in tact.

All I am going to say on the subject.

We all will and can question any person's faith.

We should all also remember that we all fall short of the glory of God because we are all sinners. It is impossible to know another's true measure of devotion or faith.

As I said, I wont doubt a mans professed faith, because its not my place to say if some one believes or not. But Character on the other hand, is something that becomes apparent over time no mater what faith one professes.

While I agree with you about those bathroom stalls, angry as they might be, even there, some truth exists.

BTW: Everyone who's participated in the Dating, mating, hating game at some point or the other has been judged of poor character by an aggrieved significant other. It doesn't mean that one has poor character traits, but the human condition dictates that character, good or bad, when and wherever its judged, is also based upon a moving target set by those making that assessment.
