The Colts are such a dumpster fire and the shoulder is very scary. Bears look way more attractive if I am Harbaugh. Who would Harbaugh know better? His old DC Fangio, or the Colts organization?

Plus I would probably rather work for any other owner in the NFL before working for Jim Irsay.

Alex Spanos and Dan Snyder say hello.

I know there are other bad owners out there. Irsay though to me has been the luckiest owner in the NFL and has done very little with his luck. The idea that you can get Peyton Manning to head the team for so many years followed right behind by Luck and do so little to surround those players with anything of worth is down right criminal.

I agree, he's a horrible owner, but I think he has a few roommates right there with him.

What separates him for me is the whole drug problem. The guy is an absolute loose cannon that could explode at any time.

He passed on the Raiders and the chance to stay in the Bay area.

I am sure last off season a few other teams made inquiries as well. Harbaugh isn't cut out for the NFL game. The only way he would ever go back is if he has total control of the Team and the GM reports to the Head Coach. As well as having a hands off owner that will not get involved.

And even then he may not want to deal the the pro athlete personalities and political correctness of the NFL.

The college game allows the Head Coach to be the face of the program and grand poobah. It's why you don't hear Saban wanting to go back or Urban Meyer looking to move on.

But with Harbaugh anything is possible so as much as I don't see it, it would not shock me.

michigan is his dream job, so no.

I get that but Harbaugh didn't want to leave the NFL.....him and the 49ers had a bitter divorce. I think he still wants to coach at the highest level......oh and he never stays in one place too long.

Harbaugh to Indy?

Can Kaepernick be far behind?

I have no doubt he'd bring in Kaep if it were within the next few seasons. And if Luck was having trouble returning from the shoulder injury, Kaep would then start.

If Harb did come back, and he brought Kapershit whit him that would leave his #1 pick to go for a Defensive stud or best WR or OL.
Could be interesting

Harbaugh is really intense and a rah rah guy. He doesn't have an off switch. He is like that all the time. He came to SF which had a talented roster and he had instant success. But I wonder if he went to another organization that had to go through a roster build whether his personality would work while a team was losing games for at least a couple of years. I'd think players might start tuning him out after awhile

Michigan fans will get sick of losing a game or two and never playing for the Big 10 Championship. They will not be happy with that and get rid of him

I still have an assload of Colts gear from Jesus H's last stint in Indy.

I won't be getting more this time.

I think he'll wait for the Bears job. But he won't wait long. Can't suffer too many OSU losses before he cuts bait.
