Based on this listing here are my thoughts:

Too High
Andre Roberson - Defensive specialist is too high up on this list. Considering there are 5 starters for every team, 30 teams and 150 starters, I don't believe he's in the top 100. He's definitely not ahead of Trevor Ariza, Gary Harris or JJ Redick that's for sure. I probably wouldn't even take him over Rodney Hood either.

Patrick Patterson - I really like his game, but his production shouldn't put him higher than guys like Markieff, Pau, Monroe, or even James Johnson. Last year he averaged 6.8 pts and 4.8 rebounds on 24 minutes a game. Way too high.

Nikola Mirotic - He plays next to nothing defense and his offense is really hit or miss. I think he's probably outside of the 100 too.

Lou Williams - Slightly too high, but not by much. I think JJ Redick is better than him and should be ranked higher.

Manu - Love the guy, but his game has eroded significantly. There are lots of guys who should be in the top 100 over him. Basically his legacy puts him here, but his game as of right now has no justification anywhere near this high.

Too Low
Dennis Schroeder - What in the hell is going on ranking this guy at 96? He averaged 17.9, 6.3 apg and 3.1 reb per game last year while playing pretty good defense too. He's not an elite PG, but he's certainly better than pretty much everyone on this list with him. It's crazy that he's ranked that low. He should be in the 50-75 range somewhere.

Gary Harris - I can see why he's ranked this low, because his numbers don't really jump out at you but he's a really good player. I'd take him over Oladipo right now, tbh.

Trevor Ariza - He's still a really productive player and a really good defensive player too. He's on the down slope of his career, but he's still going to be a major factor for the Rockets this year. Really good glue guy who does everything well.


These are the most eggregious ones from this list. There are others on here that I would rank slightly higher and slightly lower but nothing I could for sure say one way or another. Guys like Nerlens Noel, Cody Zeller, Derrick Favors and Markieff Morris are hard to gauge. I also omitted Rodney Hood from being too low because he's still inconsistent to me at this point, but lots of talent.
