Man, I still can't get up the nerve to say this... It will always be the Deutsche Bank Championship to me..

Worked it Saturday-Monday

Crowds were weak until Monday, granted Sunday was terrible weather.....

Graham Deleat was the rabbit on Monday and he was hilarious... On Monday, he Birdied the 5th hole, turns to the crowd (which was basically hole marshals and like 2-4 fans).... "Anyone else birdie this hole today?" then looks at the camera guy, "Did you get that on tape?" Dude finished his round so fast!!

Ian Poulter is still A gigantic DICK.... Wouldn't fist bump, hand slap any kids or anything like that. Every other player did. Matt Kucher is awesome! Found his ball was gracious as all hell and very appreciative I found it.

Sergio Garcia had to put with his 3 wood (Sunday) from the 5th hole on. He slammed it down on the 4th and snapped it. Another player (brain fart on name) duffed his 2nd shot into the water on 6 (hole i was working) and snapped his club over his leg. 7th tee.. Danny Lee (I believe) hit a terrible shot, slammed driver down, dented tee box then threw his club into the woods).

Pouring rain Sunday...

Man I wish I was still there!!!

I think generally speaking this is a major golf forum...I realize these are the playoffs but I played Monday myself so I didn't watch any golf live, but saw some of the replay later.

There are a few Euros that I have a hard time separating from the Ryder Cup, therefore just don't care much for them...Poulter is one of those players.

Right and this was a major tournament... So I would think we would have some chatter about it but I guess not.

I can't stand Poulter!

I meant major as in one of the 4....that seems to get more Hoopster golf fans going.

Poulter...this was probably 8-9 yrs ago now, but he had the nerve to say something to the effect of him and Tiger would be dueling in majors for years to come.

I remember him saying that and my 1st thought was...what major has he won?

oh yeah I gotcha.. That's true.. Just like talking golf with you guys and it just seems really slow.

Poulter is just an ass, period.

19 starts, 0 wins, 2 top 10s = 47th place on the FEDEX list?

I agree...must be the new math that I'm a little behind on...several guys behind him have twice as many top 10s...Idk how many cuts he made from his 19 starts but they had to be strong finishes.

You open up another point...imo the FEDEX Cup finals should move around...we're happy to have it here every year since we no longer have a regular PGAT stop...Eastlake is a great old golf course that they have basically made the permanent home of the FEDEX Cup. Now that the FE Cup is more established, it seems like it would be better if the final traveled around.

Yeah that makes no sense how he is that high on the standings. I just don't get it.

Well this tournament might end next season as the tour wants to remove it and or possibly make it every 3 years but on a rotating location schedule. So it might be done completely next season

Curiosity killed the cat they say.

It doesn't add up so I had to look it up and I understand a bit better now.

Looking inside his top 10 finishes, he had a T2 at the Players, solo 3rd @ the Canadian Open, both of those were huge points...then outside of those top 10s he had a T14 @ The British, another T11...generally speaking, if he made the cut, he finished middle off the pack if he was not in the top 10. Almost no bottom feeder finishes, actually one...66th @ the Northern Trust playoff event.

He just comes off as a smug Brit...whereas Justin Rose, also a Brit, doesn't.

Rose I love... Poulter sucks balls!

I guess looking at the "numbers" better makes it a little easier to see why he is so high, still don't think he's worth it however
