We are getting back into reload territory instead of rebuilding. And when you lose a guy to the NFL, it's next man up!

Being right is a curse not a gift. O Line was bad also, but he clearly whiffed on multiple throws.

The Peters era needs to start next game. He can't be any worse.

I'm pretty sure we both said the same about O'Korn during the Iowa game last year. We just need to turn into a patriots like offense with 3-5 yard throws. He couldn't possibly mess those up... right?

Peters seems to lack intangibles of being a leader which is why he is behind the other two guys. He is more talented than those two, but someone else would have the lead the huddle and that's not a good thing.

I haven't been reading much about it, but I remember hearing something about that during the spring game. Does he lack leadership, or is he just more of a quiet player that doesn't take a vocal role as a leader?

He is not vocal and apparently shy around other players. I dunno why tbh.

I get that. Some times it's just easier to lay low and get a handle on the dynamics of the team before you get all these personalities to listen to you. I'm hoping we can get a look at him in the next two or three games with the starters.

What worries me the most is our two experienced QBs look the exact same as last year. Speight is terribly inaccurate and O'Korn doesn't look comfortable in the pocket when trying to read and throw. I was hoping both would get better in the offseason.

He has Luck upside to. So hopefully he breaks out of his shell. Pep Hamilton hasn't been on the job that long, but Tim Drevno is looking more and more like a mediocre playcaller at best.

I don't know if it was as much the plays as execution. e.g. if you can't hit the deep ball, there's no reason for the safeties to play deep.

At least he shakes things up with formation and no power run plays from time to time. Borges and Nuss were vanilla ice cream and tap water.

I'm ok with Speight....One of those Ints hit the WR in the hands......O'korn looked lost when he came in, best chance at winning is with Speight for the forseeable future.

Best chance at winning anything significant is seeing Peters break out of his shell and take over the team.

I give you the WR shares some blame in the first pick, but I'm feel too many people are trying to write that one off. As a QB, you can't throw high over the middle of the field, it can get your WRs hurt badly. I believe he shares a good amount of the blame for that. Put the ball on the numbers and it's caught or dropped in front. I'll take either over a ball that gets tipped in the air in the middle of the secondary.

If it hits you right in the palms of the hands, you have to catch it. That pass wasn't that high either, it's not like Crawford had to high jump up to get it, nothing out of the ordinary with that pass. I think some of you are just looking to pile on Speight. Yea he's not the best QB, but right now he's the best we got

No it was high and while Crawford should have caught it, it wasn't a good pass at all. Some of the blame is on the QB.

That sounds like a terrible reason to not have the best player play.

You can be a leader without being the vocal guy.

There are multiple types of leaders out there.
