If Cena wasn't built like an NFL linebacker he might have broken his neck on that move. I was legitimately worried until he stood up
Same here. Vince was scared in the truck too, it was a while before they showed Cena on camera.

I can be a bit of a build up guy. If it happens.

The build up to Cena/ Corbin intrigues me

If Nakamura doesn't win the belt at SummerSlam, I may cry.

No shame.

No judgement. Hell i nearly cried when Beniot won at XX. What can i say? Some men are emotional g's.

I would not be suprised if he wins. The SD brass is tappering off the Jinder push

How considerate of Russev to wait until after Randy won his match to kick his head off. :gaah:

Terrible selling tonight. The KO/Styles/Shane segment was so blatantly obvious what was going to happen.

Same for the Cena/Corbin/Mahal segment. The camera showed Corbin cutting his eyes at Cena idk how many times.

At least Corbin lost which ups the chance that Nakamura might actually win the title outright and finally put an end to this Mahal experiment

Corbin had the worst MITB run ever. No angle, no promos on it, and a failed cash-in. I wonder if the company has soured on him or if there's just been a massive change in long term storylines and they had to adjust on the fly.

I wonder that too. Before the failed cash in, You'd have thought that Corbin threatening to cash-in on Nakamura would've been one of the newly crowned champs early storylines. Guess not.

Corbin now needs to totally destroy Cena during their Summerslam match or he loses all his heat and credibility of ever moving into the top of the card. So, who wants to bet Cena pins Corbin clean in under 5 minutes?

I don't see Cena putting over Nakamura because he knows his time is limited and then squashing Corbin. Plus Cena has lost his last 5 SummerSlam matches and I think that trend continues if only because of the long standing rumor(that I'm not sure if I 100% believe) but he has put his last 5 opponents over at SS.

Too bad Cena doesn't book WWE Vince does. And if Vince wants to now bury Corbin, he will by having Super Cena squash him. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen this too many times before to count anymore.

Can someone please tell me what the fuck that was with Baron Corbin? Like, what the fuck was the point of him winning the damn thing? To push his feud with Cena? That makes no sense. This was worst than the Sandow MITB run. Holy shit! He better be suspended because of drugs or PEDs or something because if not, it LITERALLY doesn't make any sense.

Looking for logic in WWE booking is pointless cause there often is none. A wellness violation makes some sense except I'd think he be suspended immediately and the SS match with Cena would be off.

Cena can practically book himself now, you think if it was still Vince 100% he would've let Cena lose to a Japanese guy when Vince has a history of not caring about anyone from Japan? Hell Vince probably would've had him squash those indy darlings AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan at SummerSlam too. If Cena wants to put someone over Vince will let him.

No, Cena can't book himself. He can agree to put someone over or want to ala Jericho but Vince and only Vince books WWE. It is still Vince 100% and what history??? Vince had Mr. Fuji and Sieto(sp) as tag champs back in the day. Mr. Fuji was a heel manager for decades that managed many tag and world champs. WWE is trying to grow the Network worldwide. Hence the booking of Jinder and signing of stars from all over the world. Pushing Nakamura is good for business and Vince loves making money!!!

I haven't been watching SmackDown, so can someone please tell me this:

Have they been building towards Nakamura/Mahal AT ALL? I haven't seen any highlights of any run-ins, no beatdowns, no staredowns between the two, nothing. It seems to just kinda be a match that's there.

Nope. Pretty much nothing. There was a sit down interview Renee did with Nakamura about how much he wants to win the title but that's it
