I don't care what Mike Bacsik says, Maz looks like he's at least an avg corner OF to me. Little slow afoot, but he seems to get to balls pretty effectively.

Bacsik was stating earlier Mazara was a DH, and a DH only for his future.

Don't think he's going to become Roberto Clemente but he's better than Choo right now. Which I realize this isn't exactly a compliment.

Must say, I've seen enough of Gallo to believe he's a good enough athlete to be above avg regardless of where you play him. Granted, it'll take some more seasoning, but he's got terrific hand-eye coordination, good speed too.

Yeah, the on field stuff is about to start now. We just watched about a 20-25 minute special on the big screen with Pudge and John Radighan. It was great.
