Which is why they probably gave him 6. If they gave him 4 then they would be forced to cut it down to 2
I really don't think the suspension is getting reduced. Not after all the rhetoric on DV by the NFL. They'll fight that until they have no choice.

The Giants kicker the exception to this get tough on DV

The advisory council consisted of an attorney from New Jersey, two women and a former Houston Oiler safety.

I think 6 games is way over the top and expect it to be reduced to 3 or 4, which I'd be fine with
It will go the same way as the Big Ben suspension. If Zeke appeals, Rodger will reduce the suspension to 4 games if Zeke completes some kind of required counseling.

From what I am seeing I don't think it is getting dropped at all either. There has to be some serious shit in the information the NFL has and is using. The 6 game suspension shocked me to be honest. Based on what I was reading I thought 1 maybe 2 games at most.

They don't have anything in terms of DV.

This is a cumulative thing. It will get reduced if not outright dismissed without charges of any kind.

Did anyone check on Manster ???...He may need a ride to the therapist office !!!!

I concur.

What really disturbs me though is that with all this going on in the background, Mardi Gras still happened.

I have compost that has more "life smarts" than Elliott.

And sorry folks, I had two meaningless events confused, not Mardis Gras, but St Patrick's day....

Link: Ezekiel Elliott Suspended 6 Games After Domestic Violence Investigation

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been suspended for six games by the NFL for violating the personal conduct policy, the league announced Friday.

The suspension comes as a result of an investigation that started more than a year ago after an ex-girlfriend accused Elliott of domestic violence in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus City Attorney's office announced in September that it would not pursue charges against Elliott because of "conflicting and inconsistent information."

Elliot's suspension comes nearly a year after the NFL suspended New York Giant's kicker Josh Brown only one game for domestic violence accusations.

Brown of course was actually arrested for the crime and admitted to beating his wife. Elliot on the other hand has never been charged and concrete evidence of a crime has not been presented.

When asked to comment on the inconsistency of the suspensions NFL commissioner Roger Goodell simply responded "What can I say? I just don't like black people."

After the interview Goodell retreated back to his mansion where he reportedly watched 15 straight hours of homosexual pornography.

It's becoming apparent RG doesn't like having his authority questioned.
If you pull a Josh and give him the yessa massa then he goes lenient. Of course Josh had no choice. But if you challenge any findings requiring the league to do work ie. Cutting into the NFLs bottom line prepare for the hammer. Deflategate was a $25k equipment manipulation violation. Rog caused it to become a multi-million $ circus.
Good luck Cowboy fans.

Actually they were pretty spot on. Close high scoring game just as I said. Not sure why you continually think otherwise . I actually predicted the entire playoffs spot on before they started with the exception of GB beating your team. But yes the games will play out, on that you're correct

Pure spin on your part. You predicted the Atlanta chicklets high powered offence would put up in the mid high 30's on New England.

Wrong! They put up 21.

Yep I was 6 points off. Terrible . Who did you have in the SB before the playoffs started ? Because I predicted every game correctly save 1 . I'm sure you, being so wise, had a NE Atlanta SB?? Lol.

Goodell assembled an investigation panel of DV activists. The fallout if he reduces it after he pandered to the investigators would be huge.

Goodell: "Look, I'm taking DV seriously"
Investigators: "Thank you, This will make the NFL look good and make us relevant again"

6 points? You were predicting mid 30's by the Falcons O. They put up 21. That's roughly 14 points off.

Are you new to math?

I kinda agree. Nothing happened really and most of the evidence is from an untrustworthy lying woman. This is just the NFL bowing down to pressure to look active in combating domestic violence in its stupid mandate, after screwing up badly the last few years.

Doesn't matter. CBA states, and the lower courts have ruled, that RG can punish anyone he wants for any reason he wants. He can suspend someone for simply not liking their hairstyle.

It almost makes me glad the Cheatriots showed him up twice. Influencing the outcome of games with this kinda of meddling is why Goodell needs to go.
