It's possible but likely depends on the site. I think with a good season they will end up in the top 10 based on what they have so far.

Well so far so good but with any kid this highly recruited I want him still part of the class on signing day and that is two years away. The new coaching staff is really getting it done at the moment hopefully this translates to the field.

They're saying he could be the best player at any position in 2019.

I read he's the best player at any position in the state of Kentucky, I'm not sure how that rates him nationally. Of course the same report said he's better than a 4 star like a 4 plus so probably almost a 5 star which would make him the best D-Lineman since Tuitt (I don't count Vanderdoes).

Yea I think it was a projection for him. Either way, he should be a stud.

While this is great news, he's only heading into his junior year. Clearly a ton of talent, but if he develops the way we want, he will have a bunch of top teams targeting him over the next two years. I'm seldom pessimistic about ND football, but if Kelly doesn't win a minimum of 9 games, all these kids are going to hear that ND is going to be dumping the entire coaching staff. At that point we start losing recruits.

I think this coaching staff will get more than a year to right the ship, but I expect 8-9 wins from this team this season.

That being said, if this year is a COMPLETE train wreck, we will probably lose a lot of these commits.

I've heard Notre Dame is falling behind with Amon-Ra St. Brown so I'm not sure he'll end up being the guy.

Yea I don't think we're gonna get Amon-Ra, but I'm very happy with the Austin commit.

I think most people thought he would visit but that doesn't mean he'll end up with Notre Dame. Only time will tell

Well losing that game with someone big recruits was a disaster. Usually when they lose a big recruiting event game like this they don't get many of the recruits that went to the game so yes this was a disaster for recruiting the only hope is to play well the rest of the way and I'm not sure we can count on that.

OR...the recruit looks and sees a competitive team and thinks he can help out next yr and get a chance to play. The blow outs are the bad ones...LOL

As I recall last years Michigan State and Stanford loses weren't blow outs and I think they might have gotten one recruit that visited in those games in OL Aaron Banks. You can try to be optimistic about it if you like but Notre Dame recruiting history at least recent history goes against you. Under Kelly when they lose these big recruiting events they don't tend to get many recruits from said games. Last year of the Nine guys listed on the visit list for these games only Banks committed. Now a better overall year would yield better results during Kelly's tenure I doubt it isn't that much better. I read an article about this before the Georgia game about this big recruiting weekends under Kelly and how they have gone depending on a win or a loss and losing isn't a good thing.
