Any idea what kid of butt it was? Just curious.

I was up in Alaska the past few weeks and above one of the urinals at a bar was a sign that said "please do not throw cigarette butts into the urinals - it makes them soggy and difficult to light".

I know I'm burying the lede here but why the hell would he pick it up and throw it back? Like, it's a fucking cigarette butt. Mind your own.

But to the lede, jesus christ don't kill the dude over it.

U gotta be some kinda social pariah in training to want to throw a lit dart anywhere on the ground in bc these days with the province burning and going on 50 something days without precip

Throwing a lit cigarette into a moving car is probably more hazardous to human life than one dropped on the pavement within 10 feet of a tree in a strip mall.

meh ... its a damn stupid thing to do considering the circumstances anywhere around here ... all the local parks are closed to smoking ... its tinder dry ... i would say the consensus here is if anyone saw someone throw a cig anywhere on the ground theyd be angered seeing it ... angered enough to throw it back at the person? ... probably not

I agree it's dumb, it's just considering this airhead was dumb enough to find someone to beat the crap and eventually kill this person she could also be the kind of airhead who sees it fly into her car, go nuts trying to find it, not pay attention and then plow into pedestrians or some shit.

I get why it would bother someone but it's that "you don't know who you're dealing with" thing that people seem to forget these days. If a biker with a Hells Angels patch rolled into that plaza and chucked a smoke is this guy picking it up and flicking it back at him? Step on the damn thing and drink your latte.

Vancouver Sniffing around and NBA team again?

Daily Hive
What's an NBA expansion fee likely to be today, $2 billion US?

I doubt there's a person in this country with the combination of resources and desire to spend that much for a Vancouver sports team, and that's before even getting into the other factors.

what a bizarre rumo(u)r lol ... Aquilinis had the chance to buy and move the Hornets in 2011 and passed because the price tag might have been around a measly 500 shmill

i couldnt see Bell trying to divest their interest in the Raptors for a Vancouver NBA franchise

I think it all boils down to the fact Rob Sacre is on crack :noidea:

/how about some big Asian money guy ??? ... Im giving Sacre way too much benefit of the doubt here lol

If it was just the Raptors, maybe, although still slim considering how much capital has been poured into the team the past few years in terms of roster, the new training facility, paying Drake to go to a game once in a blue moon, etc.

But to divest from MLSE and the Leafs? They'd be crazy.

/It would be funny to see a Bell-owned team playing in a Rogers-branded barn though.
