5 yr/85 for Fournier lmao. He's not that good.

I had no idea Batum got that much from Charlotte last year. Wow

No surprise that most of these contracts on the list were signed the last 2 summers. This is the new NBA. People better get used to it. I think only like 3 or 4 of those contracts were signed before 2016.

I wonder if any of the players on that list have ever said to themselves, they got lucky because they don't deserve that kind of contract?

Not the worst at either position though, surprisingly enough.
Congratulations to Jim Buss for most likely being the only one to have created two of the worst contracts. No wonder his own blood sister fired him

Glad to see Jrue Holiday on the list. Guy does not deserve the max at all. Solid player but nothing special IMO.

Sucks to see my boy Tyler there but I understand the logic.

The logic MIGHT apply if you make the list next year.
If you are making the list now, then he is a BARGAIN and that has to be factored in.

Also, James Johnson should not be on the list.
He reinvented himself last season by getting in shape.
Same logic applies as with Tyler. Put him on a list if/when he fails.

Who else on the list is speculation vs results we've already seen?
I don't think anyone.

I know there was a lot of competition on the Center's list, but one guy I think that you could make an argument for being a lot overpaid is Al Horford.

Dude is going to make 28M this upcoming year and has two additional years left. He's averaging 14 pts, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists, with 1.3 blocks per game. Those aren't bad numbers, but for the amount he's being paid is not nearly up to par, IMO.

Otto Porter should immediately make this list too.

Jesus, throwing money at garbage like nothing. I rather throw it at some fat strippers.

Lets see if Tyler takes another step up before we say that contract sucks. There is something about this kid that makes me feel he aint done his development

I kind of agree. At that time Boston was not a free agent landing spot........I could see him moved halfway through the 18/19 season if he does not fit in well enough with the 7/11 kids and IT/Hayward

Does everyone remember that Gilbert Arenas was getting 12 mil per from the Magic thru 2016?

....and it's still a better contract than Noah...lol

It's a big contract, yes... but I will say that Horford is one good example of a player where stat's don't do him full justice...

His decision making and assist numbers are top notch for a NBA big man... in today's modern, team offense... a guy like Horford has great value.
