Almost had 3,500 passing yards in a season. Quite a feat back in the 60s. Granted he chucked the ball a lot, ballsy those days lol.

By the way he was also QB coach of the Broncos and the Steelers, including coaching Terry Bradshaw. He also has a SB ring as 2nd to Broadway Joe for the Jets.

But yeah, he only has a connection to the AFL and NFL via the Patriots.

Well, you know there are people older than that who are doing ok. I know a guy that's 103 and he still drives, mows his lawn, etc. He's sharp, too. So, when you're 86, you might think differently!

If you enjoy sports history, I recommend reading "From Darkness to Dynasty", history of the New England Patriots. There success, while much is owed to BB and Brady, really stems from the current ownership.
