its all projections based on assumptions. most publications feel like Oregon is going to rebound better than MSU. With a new coaching staff Oregon seems to have regained some fire. and they were young last year and UCLA was with out Rosen for like half the season so with him back people feel like they will do better than 4 wins this season.

Agreed. UCLA's offense was just abysmal after he went down.

We played both teams that were in the Championship game last year and we are repeating it this year. We are always at least in the top 20 of toughest all around schedules in the country so we have nothing to apologize for.

Now explain why your conference sucks so bad.

One of the main reasons why South Carolina is among the hardest 5 is because of Clemson. And FPI projects NC State as a top 25 team, who South Carolina also plays OOC.

Colorado depending on how much they drop.
Oregon State Cal and AZ St who people don't expect much from
UCLA and Oregon who people are expecting some sort of bounce back but exactly how much is tbd
Stanford, Utah and WSU who you expect to be solid to good but not necessarily great.
so its predicated on a few teams hopefully being good?
