Most of the decent QBs are signed. Outside of a rising senior, who do you think we try to flip. My list would include
Jurkovec from ND (I know he hasn't wavered a bit, but another awful ND season could bring him to reason!)
Jarren Williams from Kentucky
Artur Siktowski from Miami (IMG but from NJ)
Tyler DuSue from Maryland (would get bonus points for Terp's salt)
Brennon Armstrong from Minnesota (from Ohio, we're a better program and closer to home)
Quincy Patterson from VT
Gunner Holmberg from Duke
Devin Leary from Stanford

Who should I eliminate from or add to this list?
If they want Leary and push, he'd be easy flip. Off that list, Patterson and Sitkowski most likely, they are not giving up on Fields and Slade had an interesting comment about him from opening. When asked who he keeps in touch with he said he talks to all the commits everyday including Shorter and Fields. We'll end up with someone who's committed elsewhere now most likely, we offered one of the Texas QB commits already as well. I think they'll take their time, let the offense go crazy and see how Fields plays out too.

Leary is committed to NC State currently, but I think he's the prime target.

Also Jordan Miner, 4 star CB from Florida is scheduled to announce today. PSU in a very good spot

If they wanted Leary, they could have him. Good passer, but not great fit for the offense, not very monile

Interesting side note from the opening....aside from Shorter absolutely dominating and Salde having a great showing, in an interview with scout, Slade said he is in touch with all the commits every day, specifically mentioned Shorter and FIELDS.

Heard a lot of smoke around Will Levi's. Do you think they accept his commitment right now? Obviously the staff likes him but wouldn't that be kind of off putting for Fields coming back? Would they be willing to take 2 QBs? I know they could find him a landing spot if Fields wants back in but that's kind of a bad look imo.

Levis is going to work out for them and pretty much camp for an offer. If he gets one, like he has everywhere he's thrown this year (including Florida state), he would probably commit very soon after, if not on the spot. Fields is a plus one type, if they can get him back they'd take 2 or Levis could decide to go elsewhere, but that's a nice problem to have if it ever arises.

Sounds like Anderson-Butts may pull trigger, but as an ATH, not a WR...could very well end up as DB if he ever qualifies. He's also Micah's bestie, so maybe he can swing him back full circle

Justin shorter gains his 5th star and rockets up to #7 overall player on 247.....looking at the top 10 makes you think what could've been....or still can be....Parsons #4 and Fields up to #1 overall

So who can we be expecting this weekend? SAB and Enis? Culpepper and Mustipher maybe? I know Young has a commitment date scheduled, it's next week though correct?

No enis till fall, he is visiting in September. I think SAB, Young, Culpepper, Levis (if he earns offer) are all very likely, then guys like Mustipher, George, Walker could pop as well....also think we get our first 19 commit

Judge Culpepper is #15!

Anybody have insight as to why his offer sheets reads like a mid-4 star but his rankings are mid 3-star? Claims offers from Alabama, Michigan, Florida, Notre Dame, USC west, and LSU? Not all those school blanket the country with uncommitable offers like Bama.

3* QB Will Levis committed this morning. He's a decent fallback option if Fields doesn't come back. 4* ATH Shaquon Anderson Butts also gave his commitment. Hopefully he can keep his grades in order because he could be a big recruiting tool for the other top dogs in PA. He's also HS teammates and close friends with Parsons and has already been sending out tweets to other top PA kids to join him at PSU.

Also it looks like PSU is back in the drivers seat for Aeneas Hawkins, which would be a nice get. The way the CB picks are flooding in, it wouldn't surprise me if he pops this weekend.

Levis worked out for staff yesterday and crushed it. Ran a couple 4.6 or less 40s at 220lb and impressed with his arm

We aren't done yet. Young in a couple days, Hawkins soon, which could push mustipher....who knows who else gets caught up at bash tonight and pops.

Butts already working on Micah

PSU landed K Jake Pinegar and 4* WR Daniel George today. George is a nice get at WR and the kicker is ranked as the 14th best HS kicker in the class based on the rankings I saw. Brings the class up to 19 commits. LBU, how many are they projected to take for 2018 and how do you see the class rounding out? Quite a few targets left that PSU sits well with Mustipher, Oweh, Smith, Hawkins, Dotson, Enis, Walker plus Fields and Parsons are still out there. Is there any way they could fit all these guys back in if they needed to? Would there be some current guys that could get squeezed out? I'd imagine at least one of them would choose another school so the chances of getting them all would probably be unlikely but still.

Could see some gray shirts, out wheelhouse recruiting area is down next year, we are going full 25 most likely. Not sure if kicker is scollie or preferred walk on...I need to go on vacation more often, class going crazy now

Saw something saying that Barbir will most likely be on a medical scholly next year so Pinegar doesn't really affect the numbers this year. Is that true? Having an extra spot this year could be very beneficial.

I've heard barbir not been healthy since stepped on campus and we needed a kicker, we also have a few who will early enroll and 1 who will probably need year of prep. Could see a gray shirt or 2, a kid realizing they may never see field and decommitting (we recruit over someone) I could see 28 if we get thEE and prep situations
