Also, trading Hjalmersson is rough. I know they need cap help (it starts by not paying Jon Toews the highest salary in the league), but they just weakened their D pretty substantially. This could be a rougggggh go.

In Saad's defense, they traded the centre who best fit his game and he didn't have any stability in relation to where he played. 4th line some nights, top line the others.

He's younger, but I still think it's a bit of a downgrade. Hawks D is not so great. A lot of this comes from paying guys out for the Cup runs, of course. Seabrook brings them many problems. But I can't say much considering the D core my team trotted out and won with...
