That stupid waiter they had from Spain (or Portugal) had some really funny expressions when he didn't know what he was supposed to do.

No love for the Jeffersons either

Of the shows listed the Jeffersons is probably my least favorite, the maid, made the show. I watched it quite a bit I just didn't think it was funny aside from Florence.

I'm more surprised by the no love for What's Happenin'! Dee was excellent, Shirley was great, terrible acting but it was a great show.

I forgot the show "That's my mama" I don't think it was on long but I watched it and I actually have it on DVD.

Overall besides thinking Fawlty Towers was the best, liking Three's Company and Jeffersons. I just didn't care for the shows listed.

Les Nessman was classic. I still make references to his "office" when I am work...

I did that about 5 years ago. The girl in the office said who is les nessman. I said WKRP......she said what are you talking about. I felt old

LOL

I will always knock on the cube-door with my foot. My older coworkers laugh. The younger ones just think I am weird.

The younger ones are right...

M*A*S*H is the correct answer.
Name another show that had so many lead character changes and maintained it's excellence.

Same with me. I make myself laugh and if anyone laughs with me it is just a little bonus.

I think the first 3 years of Mash were amazingly good, when Henry and Trapper left the show went downhill in a hurry, I liked Potter but he wasn't nearly as good as Henry. B.J was horrible IMO. (Never thought i'd think or write or say those words in my life) I did like Charles...

Yup. An all time classic to simply a pretty good show. I still rank MASH right there with All In The Family for the top sitcom of the decade because of those first couple of seasons though. WKRP would be the only other in the running for myself. A nod to Taxi as well.

My thoughts as well. Once Wayne Rogers and McLean Stevenson Mash became the Alan Alda show and while there was still a few good episodes the perpetually pretentious Alda fucked it all up. What started as a light hearted comedy turned into a comedy drama that just wasn't very funny anymore.

All in the Family was certainly THE ground breaking sit com of the 70's, but I do agree with a few others that preferred Taxi, Barney Miller and WKRP in Cincinnati.
