@Mebert i believe you are OTC
I never liked the guy as a person, but come playoff time, he was always one of the best guys on the iceI think he was an acquired taste. If he played for your favorite team you loved him. If not.........
Damn man, now they are saying suicide .WTF?So, now i'm sitting here cranking some Soundgarden drinking a beer, did I mention fuck Anaheim?
There aren't too many players I can think of. That completely elevated their game come play off time. And he was a master of the phsychological part of the game. I know a lot of people hate him. But he got in opposing players heads. And threw them off their games. He's got the stats and hardware to be HOF. Personally I think it's time they induct himl. If anything it's long over due imoI never liked the guy as a person, but come playoff time, he was always one of the best guys on the ice
@Mebert love the Carbaneau pick. One of the most undercrated players in the game. I was close to picking him myself. Like Claude he was clutch. But he may have been one of the greatest defensive forwards I've seen play the game. I remember him playing a big role on the ok and shutting Gretzky down in the 93 finals
I thought about running that same strategy. But that's Devils hockey. People usually just see the neutral zone trap. And forget how many times. The Madden and Pandolfo line. Just shut down opposing teams top linesI end up with him in all the hockey drafts, I love that guy. Even in this format if he is your 4th line he can be thrown out at any time and shut down the center. It is a nice thing to have.
