Time to be tested and prove we can beat some better teams.

Interesting road trip for sure.

Detroit has typically been a house of horrors in the past, but they seem to be a mediocre team this year.

Winning at Fenway is never easy, Fenway seems like a great place to watch a game. We will see Sale so expect a lot of K's that night.

Then..... it's the hated blue Jays. I'm still mad at bannister for trying to get home field when he could've easily lost a few games at the end of the year and played the Indians. A team that we usually do well against ( not counting this year). Damn the blue Jays really embarrassed us.

Banister wanted the Jays. He talked about staring the devil down in the face and beating him. Well he got the Jays and they let him have it. It's on him and the team of course. Trust me..... I've seen some of the greatest coaches in our lifetime manipulate matchups. Popovich and belichick do it all the time. The playoffs are so high stakes that it's usually about who you play and when you play them. We had a good track record of success against the tribe and it seemed like a no brainer to avoid the blue Jays series which would've been a circus in the media ( it was), and not to mention, the MLB cares about ratings. Anyone who gets the jays in the first round will automatically play at noon pretty much every game because Canada doesn't count in the ratings.

Starting off with Nick is not ideal.

Get it over with, but yea the streak is more likely to break. At least he's pitching in a big park and he's going to pitch in Fenway too.

I think Miggy will miss first game with a lat pull.

I think they should rest him for the entire series. :-)

Like a box of chocolates you never know what you will get with him.

He has a cutter right? When it was working in his first two starts he did fine.
