Okay I'm going to make this quick because there's not a whole lot to say about a game that will be over at halftime.
Last week Idaho faced the worst statistical defense in the country at home and came away with 279 yards and 16 points. They weren't able to throw the ball consistently and they weren't able to convert in the red zone. Despite all that they should have still been in a good position to win at the end if it wasn't for a huge Alfonso Onunwor drop in the endzone with less than minutes left. So yeah, Idaho can't play offense right now. That said, the defense was very solid last week giving up only 7 points in the second half and that score came off a play in which the Idaho defender tripped and fell on a long pass play.
App St is 3-2 with losses to Georgia and Wake Forest. They escaped a close one against NMSU last week in a game where their defense forced 6 interceptions. They actually trailed 31-24 in the fourth quarter before scoring the last 21 points of the game.
Senior QB Taylor Lamb leads an experienced offense that will look to control the clock and run the ball down your throat.
Idaho is just not going to be able to throw the ball here. The offensive line has been very shaky in pass protection, the WRs are having trouble getting open, the routes are ignoring the middle third of the field, and Matt is holding onto the ball way too long and taking bad sacks. If they want to win they need to have a big day on the ground with Duckworth and Saunders.
Prediction:
Idaho struggles to move the ball but their defense keeps them in the game into the late second quarter when the D just gets to tired from being on the field all game. App St. blows the barn door open and wins handily in the second half.

Go Vandals. Maybe don't look like shit today please.
