You gotta go with Tij, IMO. He seems to have an it factor to his game to go along with the name brand.

I will say that the pressure, both internal and external, on the kid to perform in Calgary would be massive.

Yeah, nothing like seeing Iginla in the rafters at each home game - No pressure kid :D

If you pick him, do you get his father to come hang around the locker room and teach other young players?

Asking for an as yet not hired friend

Iggy is currently serving as special advisor to Craig Conroy so I'm not sure about his availability. If Tij is still available when Conroy is at the podium (assuming the Flames don't win the draft lottery), he might be tough to pass up.

Greg Bottoms has good news for all teams picking 4th.

Not sure if he's just being deliberately contradictory, or if he actually has some insight. With as high as everyone has been on Silayev it would be wild for him to fall to 16.

@dash = Looking a little better on this one for you

@naslundfan19 Have you seen Catton much? First time I've seen the name this high up the list, he usually lands 8-12

I don't think it makes much sense for Conroy to attempt to move up in the draft as I think there's going to be a pretty good player at #9 even if Tij Iginla is off the board by then. I'm much more intrigued to see if he's still waiting to be drafted and it's Conroy's turn at the podium.

Did not watch a single Chiefs game, so I have no idea about him, other than what I read.
I think we're all full up on undersized speedy guys with good shots. Was kinda hoping he had some sort of snarl to set him apart. Demidov is anothe kinda small guy.

We're gonna get a good one at 4, but it could be any one of like 6 guys. If Lindstrom is healthy and everything people say, I still think he'd be my top choice. Dickinson wouldn't be bad either. We're kinda full on D, but a giant who can skate is hard to pass up, so there is always Silayev..
