Whoof. He's not a coach, but it's still CoachSpeak.
Brandon Beane promises to "turn over every stone" to replace Stefon Diggs
Stefon Diggs spent four seasons in Buffalo, catching 445 passes for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns.www.nbcsports.com
That's probably a very fair assessment. Thinking Kincaid, Sharif and company will certainly be looking at a young guy (or a couple) coming in. ....31 million reasons why they won't be aggressively going after guys like Aiyuk or Tee Higgins this off season.
Thinking it's a draft day upgrade vs anything else for BUF WR group
Suddenly HOU looks like a serious contender - they've made some high level, low risk moves.
It sounds like a great planAccording to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, the team has “a very, very good plan” for Deshaun Watson (shoulder).
Hmmm. Not just a very good plan. A very, very good plan.

Where does the shoulder fit in to this plan?According to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, the team has “a very, very good plan” for Deshaun Watson (shoulder).

Well to climb on my soap box for a minute -Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said Kadarius Toney is “probably our most talented wideout now.”
Veach’s comment suggests Rashee Rice could be facing a lengthy suspension for allegedly causing a six-car crash while racing his Lamborghini with another driver in March. Toney, a healthy scratch during Kansas City’s Super Bowl run last year, has been working with Patrick Mahomes in Texas this offseason along with other Chiefs pass catchers.
Translation: Probably our most talented until draft day.
As the article says, no where to go but up. .... do I see him becoming the next Mike Williams or Keenan Allen - no. Actually think McConkey eventually boot him down in the picking order. ..
It'll be interesting to see how Harbaugh tweaks (or doesn't tweak) his system once he gets into camps and realizes that all he has offensively is an above average QB, and bubkisI'd be more on board the Ladd Wagon if he had more than 1 good college season (which was 2 yrs ago) and if he didn't get drafted into a low pass volume system
The GM.Chargers GM Joe Hortiz said Quentin Johnston is “really going to launch” in his second season.
To be fair, Johnston doesn’t have anywhere to go but up at this point. The 2023 first-round pick took a back seat to several receivers last season and wound up catching 38 passes for 431 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie campaign. the 6-foot-4 speedster was targeted on just 13.3 percent of his routes, which ranked 50th amongst 60 receivers (min. 400 routes run). With Keenan Allen in Chicago and Mike Williams in New York, Johnston has a chance to open the season as the Chargers’ WR1. A step forward would be great for the Chargers and fantasy managers, who are looking for far more production in 2024 than we saw in 2023.
I think that's the kind of stuff said when you have nothing good to say about actual play-making. ....What does that even mean?
