Yeah Kuhnhakl I wonder if he will be back in WBS at some point?
They could also trade MAF at the trade deadline and resign Condon to back up Murray.Watching the NHL Network highlights of the game they stated the Penguins are 6-0 after losing a game in regulation and averaging less than 2 GA per game in that scenario.
So I looked here is another interesting part of that:
The 6 losses: Fleury started all of them and was pulled in 2 of them. (once for Condon and once for Murray)
Fleury GA: 28, Murray GA: 2, Condon GA: 0
The 6 wins: Fleury started the first two (Murray Hurt) and Murray started the last 4.
Fleury GA: 4 (2 games), Murray GA: 7 (4 games) - So even in the wins Murray is doing better in goal.
Finally every game they lost this season FLeury has started them. Murray was the unlucky loser in the Caps game even though Fleury gave up 5 of the 7 goals.
Basically I think Fleury's days as a starter are over and unfortunately will be bought out at the end of the season so that Murray will be protected. Doubt they will make a move earlier because that would mean Jarry would have to come up and then be exposed.
